These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ulti-Mate (“we,” “us”) covering your use of the Ulti-Mate website and web application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Ulti-Mate.

1. Who can use Ulti-Mate

You must be at least 13 years old. If you use Ulti-Mate on behalf of a team or organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms for that group. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under it.

2. The Service

Ulti-Mate helps ultimate frisbee teams manage rosters, schedules, RSVPs, attendance, and practice plans, and run their season. The Service is under active development — features may be added, changed, or removed, and we'll aim to give reasonable notice before significant changes.

3. Plans and payment

Ulti-Mate offers a free personal workspace and a paid Team plan, billed as a subscription through Stripe, our payment processor. Prices and any promotional trial are shown at checkout. You can cancel anytime from your team's billing settings; your subscription stays active through the period you've paid for. When a subscription ends, the team becomes inactive — nothing is deleted, and everything reopens if you resubscribe. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Acceptable use

When using Ulti-Mate, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights
• Upload data you don't have the right to share
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to access accounts, teams, or data that aren't yours
• Interfere with, disrupt, or probe the Service's security or infrastructure
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Scrape, copy, or resell the Service without our permission

5. Your content

Rosters, schedules, notes, and other data you and your team add (“Your Content”) belong to you and your team. You grant us the limited permission to store, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate the Service — nothing more. You're responsible for its accuracy and for having the right to add any personal details about your players.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described there.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Ulti-Mate available and reliable, but we don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and may set usage limits where needed to keep things running.

8. Termination

You can stop using Ulti-Mate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to us. When an account is closed, we handle the associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be error-free. You use Ulti-Mate at your own discretion and risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ulti-Mate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. For material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Ulti-Mate after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Ulti-Mate operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
